Metinvest Trametal plant in S.Giorgio di Nogaro (UD), Italy, covers an area of 150.000 square meters (out of which covered 50.000). The plant is located in the Aussa-Corno Industrial Estate of San Giorgio di Nogaro and have a capacity of 600 Ktonnes of quarto plates.
It produces plates with thickness ranging from 4 to 180 mm and maximum width 3200 mm. Minimum width is 1500 mm for thickness higher than 7 mm and 2000 mm for thickness less than 7 mm. Maximum length of plates is 36 m. Maximum weight of a single plate is 20 tons.
Plates can be supplied:
- As rolled
- Normalizing rolling
- Thermomechanical rolling
- Normalized in furnace
- Normalized and tempered
- Annealed

- Dimension/Flatness: EN10029 A(SA)20 A(SA)6
- Surface: EN10163 A(SA)20 A(SA)6 on request shotblasted
- Ultrasonic Test: EN10160 A(SA)435 A(SA)578, other standard by agreement
- Certificates: EN10204 A(SA)20 A(SA)6
- Testing as per: EN ASTM/ASME
Metinvest Trametal has also obtained the main specific product certifications such as ADW1/AD2000W1 (TÜV), 97/23 PED instruction (TÜV), CE marking, NF ACIER, API650, Nace MR0175 Ed.2003, MSSP75.
Plates can be delivered by truck (the plant have an easy access to the nearby communication crossroad that links Italy with Europe), railway (direct access from the mill) or Vessel (Porto Nogaro seaport is easily reachable from the plant).
